Last leg of the Bali to Flores journey. Collected the bike from loong-term parking, no issues. Then had a nice ride down the west coast of Lombok, past Sengiggi and other tourist haunts through Mataram to the ferry. Unlike the chaos of the prior Bali-Lombok ferry and delays, I was on the first ferry heading out. One major highlight of this trip was eating perhaps the greatest Bakso I have ever tasted, at a warung at the ferry waiting area - it was incredible. Another highlight of the ferry trip (!) was being asked to pose for a photo - this time with an infant (as opposed to some high school girls, or family, etc). I arrived in Denpasar late Friday afternoon, and the traffic was insane, I do not recommended travelling at that time in Bali.
Had a nice and relaxing stay in Double 6 beach at my long-time haunt Puri Pancha Jaya, one of the last remaining old-school guesthouses in that area. Ate a super dog at Mama's, my fave German restaurant there. Lastly, after a 2-month rental, returned the Aerox back to Pande at Bliss Bali, my long-time rental connect.
