This was a quick and easy 2-hour ride - unlike the prior days 8+ hours. Bajawa is a nice town with a tourist flair, famous for nearby traditional villages, hot springs, cafes, etc. The highlight of my stay was a visit to Bena Traditional Village, 30 minutes from town. The setting is amazing, under a volcano, and it's a good perspective on the last remains of traditional life in Flores.
